Nowruz Message from Mehdi Basouli, Acting President of the University of Science and Culture
“The breeze of Nowruz arrives from the beloved’s lane;
If you seek help from this breeze, you shall illuminate the lamp of your heart.”
Three decades have passed since 1993, when the Higher Education Institute of ACECR was founded through the efforts of a group of individuals dedicated to the growth and development of our country. Today, this institution, under the name of the University of Science and Culture, stands on the threshold of entering the fourth decade of its existence.
The year 2023 marks the 30th anniversary of a university that, throughout its history, has experienced numerous challenges and achievements, yet has consistently maintained its path of growth and progress. Today, it is recognized as the largest non-profit university in the country — a university with a large family consisting of faculty members, staff, students, and graduates.
At a time when universities around the world are being redefined through various generations and models of higher education, the University of Science and Culture strives to play a significant role in the scientific community of the country and the region. This objective is pursued of leveraging its exceptional capacities, particularly its invaluable human and social capital, as well as its close connection with the academic and cultural institution of ACECR.
Accordingly, the year 2023, as the 30th anniversary of the University’s establishment, marks the beginning of a renewed and determined movement toward excellence and advancement. of redesigning educational, research, cultural, and student services to meet the needs of today’s generation, the University seeks to provide a suitable platform for students and faculty members to contribute effectively to society’s scientific and cultural development of society. Achieving this goal will only be possible through the cooperation, solidarity, and support of all members of the University community.
I would like to extend my sincere congratulations on the arrival of the New Year and the season of spring to all members of the great family of the University of Science and Culture. I pray to Almighty God for a year filled with peace, honor, health, success, and prosperity for all.
